North Sydney Newborn Photography | Ava ~ 8 days old

I was very excited to meet little Ava Sage - her mum booked her newborn photography session early in her pregnancy, so we had plenty of time to plan out lots of sweet girly set-ups for Ava.  Ava had other ideas and arrived completely awake and fascinated by the different surroundings.  She calmly stared around the studio wondering what all the fuss was about!  After some coaxing, Ava did fall asleep and I managed to capture some images of this gorgeous baby girl. 

It was so lovely to meet this lovely family - enjoy the photos of Ava Sage.

North Sydney Newborn Photography | Outdoor Session Baby Stella

Taking advantage of the fabulous summer weather here in Sydney, my good friend Jade and I decided to head outside for an "outdoor" newborn photography session.  Little Stella was just perfect - she slept through all of the poses. I think she liked the hot weather and all of the outdoor bush sounds - there was no need for our white noise machine as nature provided its own white noise!  I absolutely loved shooting outdoors - perfect day, perfect little baby girl and perfect setting!

North Sydney Newborn Photography | Belinda Grace Connolly

I am super excited that my very first session for 2013 is my own baby girl!  
 
You can imagine my excitement at preparing to photograph my own baby - the months of planning, shopping and scheming!  We did not know if we were having a girl or a boy, so I had fun shopping for props for both genders.  Now here comes my secret admission - photographing Belinda was the most difficult newborn photography session I have ever done!  After her stay in NICU, she did not like to be touched or moved when she was sleeping.  But I am so thankful to have these beautiful images of my baby and her big sisters and brother.  I love my job, I love giving clients lasting photographs of their tiny, precious newborn babies and I am over the moon that I could give the same gift to my husband and I.

So here is our fourth baby ........ introducing to you, Belinda Grace Connolly
